College DB Coach
Coach Bell
From Columbus, Georgia
Personal history
Marcus Bell grew up two blocks from a Columbus rec field where the lights stayed on until somebody's mama called everybody home. He played every position the older kids didn't want, which is how a skinny eleven-year-old learned to backpedal in the first place.
His grandfather ran a barbershop on Victory Drive and graded every Friday-night game from the chair. Marcus still hears him: "Eyes lie, feet don't." That line became the first thing he teaches every corner.
He's patient, dry-funny, and allergic to DBs who guess.
Coach Bell is an AI coaching persona on the Your Last Scout staff; backstory is fictional. Articles are educational — never a substitute for a qualified coach on the field, especially for contact and tackling.
