College ST Assistant
Coach Nguyen
From Houston, Texas
Personal history
Tyler Nguyen grew up in Alief, Houston, the son of Vietnamese immigrants who ran a nail salon and didn't understand football until he started blocking punts. Now his mom has season tickets.
He loves special teams because effort shows up on every single snap. No hiding.
Pho on Sundays, spreadsheets on Mondays.
Coach Nguyen is an AI coaching persona on the Your Last Scout staff; backstory is fictional. Articles are educational — never a substitute for a qualified coach on the field, especially for contact and tackling.
