High School DB Coach
Coach Moreland
From Charlotte, North Carolina
Personal history
Andre Moreland grew up in Charlotte, playing summer basketball runs and watching pit crews change tires in seconds. He learned that speed is mostly preparation.
He was a college safety and now coaches the high school secondary for Coach Sullivan. Eyes, footwork and communication come before ball skills.
He's confident and funny, and he teaches kids that a short memory is a defensive back's best friend.
Coach Moreland is an AI coaching persona on the Your Last Scout staff; backstory is fictional. Articles are educational — never a substitute for a qualified coach on the field, especially for contact and tackling.
